Anthony has also been working as a research assistant for Patrick McKenna for the last ten years. McKenna was the lead investigator in Anthony’s 2011 murder trial. Casey Anthony is making headlines again after her documentary, ‘Where the Truth Lies,’ debuted on Peacock. In the documentary, Casey Anthony goes into detail about her current living situation and where she is emotionally and physically.
Casey Anthony’s Relationship with Past Friends and Family
Anthony reportedly has limited communication with her old friends and family members. Several of Anthony’s friends who appeared in the documentary spoke negatively about her in the media. George and Cindy Anthony, her parents, also participated in multiple unflattering interviews. As a result, she refers to her defense team as her new “surrogate family.”
In Where The Truth Lies, she spoke about her life when she lived with her parents. “The outside world saw this perfect little family, and there were moments of that for sure, but that wasn’t the reality,” she said. “Our life at home was a lie. Telling the truth, especially in our house, wasn’t allowed. It all comes back to my dad.”

Anthony Is Still Accusing Her Father of Murder and Sexual Abuse – 2022
In her Peacock miniseries, which aired on November 29, 2022, Casey Anthony accuses her father of sexual abuse and murder. She also claims that he abused her from 8 – 12 years of age, an allegation she made when she was being tried for the murder of 3-year-old Caylee Anthony in 2011. Casey Anthony also claims that police never investigated her father and blames him for the murder of Caylee Anthony. George Anthony has denied all the allegations. A family source told People Magazine that George Anthony “knew he was going to be thrown under the bus… but didn’t expect her to run him over so many times.”
Though Casey Antony blames her father for Caylee’s death, she still maintains that she doesn’t know exactly how it happened. “I still don’t know what happened to Caylee,” she said. “I know what I’m afraid of. I know what eats at me day after day because I know what I lived through.” Casey says that she is still mourning the death of her daughter but is still trying her best to live a normal life.
